The aim of the lite category is to bring our ouds to musicians at the most affordable price possible. However, in order not to compromise on the quality of sound, material and production techniques for this cause, we set aside the personalizations and decorations on the oud and accelerated the production.
The price of our lite oud is 1500€. Its features are as follows:
- Body woods: Walnut and Mulberry (May vary depending on the series. Photos are belong Padouk-Sapele series.)
- Soundboard wood: Spruce
- Matte polish
- Black pickguard
- Black bridge
- Plexiglass rosettes
In addition to non-modifiable features, titles to choose are below:
- Tuning
- Bowl size
- Bridge type (Traditional or Saddle)
- Armrest
- Soundboard Lacquer (+50€)
Since we think an accessory called Armrest very useful and in some climatic conditions require cover polish, we offer them as an option in our Lite ouds. However, in this category, it is possible to apply soundboard polish only as a thin layer of lacquer, Shellac is not an option.
Same as with all our ouds, one gigbag (softcase) is free with Lite oud.
